Petstock VET Altona North

Esther is a Kiwi, graduating from Massey University in 2009. She first worked in rural New Zealand treating all creatures great and small, from cows to cats. She then jumped the ditch in 2016 to work as an urban small animal veterinarian. Her experience includes emergency medicine, shelter work, mobile services and ultrasonography. Esther recently adopted an old, fluffy cat called 'Perchik' who is being pampered with items from the petshop! Past pets include two competition horses and another cat (who is now irrevocably with her parents back home). Animals are only one of Esther's passions - the others being running, hiking, soccer, violin, salsa, languages, travel and community work.

Sumana joined the team in July 2019. She is currently studying for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney, after successfully completing her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience. Due to her schedule, Sumana mainly works Saturdays but also finds time during her holidays to come in and get hands-on experience when she doesn’t have university placement. Working with us has given her solid grounding to become an empathetic and talented veterinarian.

Sumana lives with Tiger, her young-at-heart Labrador, a Netherland Dwarf called Alfie, and his bun wife, Dora, both of whom were adopted from the Rabbit Sanctuary.

Geetha graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 before returning home to the sunny island of Singapore to work in general practice. She joined the Petstock team in 2019. She is owned by a magnificent tuxedo called Portia, and her veterinary interests include internal medicine and imaging. Outside of work she is usually chasing after her toddler or enjoying a good meal and glass of wine!

My name is Briar, I have been a vet nurse since 2012 and have been with Petstock Vet since 2015. I also a background in HR management. With this combination of careers, this has helped drive my passion for delivery patient centred care, great customer service and support to clients due their times of need. I have a love for all bull breads, nutrition for animals and educating clients and staff. At home, I have two bulldogs Lacey and Otto that keep my husband and I very busy, you may even see them in the clinic on Saturday's! Please come say hello at the clinic with your pets, our team love to meet new clients and their pets as well as see our current clients and pets!

Maddi has been with us since 2017 and has been a qualified vet nurse since 2019. Maddi brings a wealth of knowledge on all animals ranging from birds and rabbits to cats and dogs. She has a number of family animals that keep her busy outside of work, but most of all her Airedale Stanley keeps her on her toes. You will often see her cat Sharae in the clinic wondering around. With all these animals, Maddi still finds the time to have a 16 year old rabbit called Cottontail that has a move for Sharae. Maddi has a passion for educating clients, theatre and providing a gold standard of care to all our patients. Maddi loves meeting all kinds of new animals, and providing help and education wherever possible so please do not hesitate to pop in and say hello to her.

Hi I'm Caddie! I have worked for PETstock for around 14 years now. I started my career at Petstock as a very young kitten. I was the head of client relations at PETstock Sunshine and the PETstock Altona North. I have since decided to have a career change and do something different I have joined the PETstock VET team as a Staff Support/Counsellor for hard days. I like to spend my off time relaxing on one of my 4 beds or running around like a mad hatter or chatting and making friends with other cats
