Meet the team

Dr Anna
Head Veterinarian
Dr Anna graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Melbourne University and started her veterinary career in mixed dairy practice. She workeed there for twenty years before moving to the UK with her family.
It was there that Anna cemented her passion for working in small animal general practice. When they returned to Australia in 2014, the family moved to Ballarat. In November 2016, Anna and her husband Jim opened Ballarat Pet and Farm Vet.
Dr Anna is passionate about travel, a devotee of the ski slopes and a great lover of animals. She enjoys participating in sports, solving puzzles, reading and listening to music.

Dr Jess E
Veterinarian
Dr. Jess E graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2019 and has been with the clinics since, showing how amazing the team and patients are at Petstock Vet and Pet and Farm Vet!
She enjoys seeing the full range of animals seen by the clinic, from farm animals and pets to shelter animals and wildlife. Her passions are emergency and critical care and shelter medicine, meaning she doesn’t get out of the clinic much anymore for farm visits but will be there for consults and surgeries when you need.
When not at her second home (the clinic), you’ll find her out hiking with her staghound, Clancy, snuggling her cat, Penny, getting sweaty at hot Pilates & yoga, or at a Dreggs concert.

Dr Kate
Veterinarian
Dr Kate graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2023 and joined the Petstock team in 2024. Having completed her bachelor's degree in ecology she has special interest is in wildlife and exotics medicine. She does still has a soft spot for hobby farm pets having grown up with them. She is excited to progress her skills in all areas of the veterinary profession alongside the incredible and supportive team!
Kate currently shares her home with an elderly cat, two rats and a small flock of very pampered chickens.

Dr Jess M
Veterinarian
Dr Jess M graduated Bachelor of Veterinary Science in Townsville in 2023 and joined our clinic in 2024. She has a passion for calvings and small animal endocrine diseases. She also likes to converse in puppy health and training.
In her spare time she loves keeping fit at the gym and training her newly adopted German shepherd Baloo.

Dr Emma
Veterinarian
After graduating from the University of Melbourne, in 2024 Dr Emma moved to Ballarat to work with animals big and small. She is enjoying developing her surgical skills and has a special interest in wildlife medicine and research.
When she is not at work, she enjoys gardening, crafts, bird watching, travel, and cuddling her cheeky Jack Russell Terrier, Georgie.

Dr Courtney
Veterinarian
Dr Courtney graduated from the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Murdoch University in 2021 and joined the team in 2022. She has an interest in large animal medicine and small animal soft tissue surgery.
Outside of work Courtney enjoys middle distance (800m and 1500m) track running for Eureka Athletic Club and cross country running. She also loves spending time with her family and pet dog, cat and turtle!

Thule
Senior Veterinary Nurse
Thule graduated in 1997 and joined our team in 2020. She has been nursing in the small animal and large animal areas throughout her career. Her interests inside of work are Dentistry, reproduction, training new team and emergency.
Outside of work she enjoys working on the farm, breeding cattle and sheep, trail riding and family holidays.

Sarah
Veterinary Nurse
Sarah has been in the industry since 2017, mostly working with cats and dogs. Since starting at Petstock Vet Delacombe in 2020 Sarah has broadened her repertoire of animals to include rabbits, ferrets, lizards, birds, turtles and various wildlife.
Sarah shares her time between the two clinics of Petstock Vet Delacombe and Ballarat Pet and Farm Vet where she enjoys working with such a dedicated team who all support each other and create a wonderful work environment.
On her days off Sarah enjoys hiking with her 2 blue heelers or cuddling up with her 3 ginger cats.

Tahlia
Veterinary Nurse
Tahlia qualified as a Veterinary nurse in 2022 and she jonined the team not long after. She works at both Petstock Vet Delacombe and Ballarat Pet and Farm, where she loves caring for hospital patients the most. Tahlia has a love and passion for all animals, however, she has soft spot for small and furry pets (even the sassy ones).
When she is not at work she spends her time walking her dogs and socialising on weekends.

Molly
Veterinary Nurse
Molly has been with Ballarat Pet and Farm Vet from the very beginning and has a true passion and love for animals. Throughout her career Molly has completed her certificate in animal studies and veterinary nursing and hasn’t looked back once. Molly loves how rewarding her role is and all the different animals she gets to meet along the way. She is an advocate for anyone wanting to do nursing, as she believes animals will get you through anything and everything.
Molly's second passion is art, she has a respect for all things creative and specialises is painting quirky animals, mixing her two passions together.

Paris
Veterinary Nurse
Paris started working at Ballarat Pet and Farm Vet as a Kennel Hand in November 2020 whilst studying her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing. She qualified in May 2022 and ever since then has always dove head first into her career as a Vet Nurse.
She has a special interest wildlife and emergency nursing, and is always eager to learn more to further develop her skills and knowledge. Paris is proud to be an advocate for all animals who enter the clinic, and loves being able to create long lasting relationships with her clients.
Paris hopes in the future to obtain ongoing certification for caring for wildlife and emergency nursing care.

Erin
Veterinary Nurse
Erin joined the Petstock retail team in 2015 and after five years, transferred to Ballarat Pet and Farm Vet in 2020 as a Vet Nurse. She has her certificates in Equine Studies, Animal Studies and since completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
Erin is a Dogs Victoria registered breeder, specialising in Working Line German Shepherd Dogs. She has a passion for dog training, reproduction and rearing litters.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time training her dogs, hiking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Elysia
Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Elysia joined the Ballarat Pet and Farm Vet team in 2024 whilst undertaking her studies in Veterinary Nursing. Elysia has a great passion for all animals, and loves learning about Veterinary Care and experiencing the challenges involved.
Outside of work Elysia enjoys listening to music, spending time with her horses and cats, and working on realistic portrait drawing commissions.

Tara
Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist
Tara is a dedicated and compassionate veterinary nurse and receptionist. Since 2019, she has built lasting relationships with clients and their pets across two vet clinics, also working alongside amazing team members who share her passion to provide top-notch care and support to families.
When she is not working, she enjoys life on her acreage surrounded by her own beloved animals, nuturing her orchard, exploring farmers markets and savouring the simple joys of the country life.

Kristy
Veterinary Receptionist
Kristy joined the team in 2020 and is a familiar face in reception greeting you with a smile and helping out in any way she can. Her passion is working with animals and spending time with her cheeky pug at home.
When Kristy is not at work she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking/camping and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Kim
Veterinary Receptionist
Kim joined the team in early 2023 and you will find her welcoming our clients and their furry friends in reception. Kim loves all aspects of her job, but mostly pats and cuddles from the patients.
When Kim's not at work she enjoys creating memories and going on adventures with her husband, children and fur babies.

Kathy
Business/Practice Manager
Having completed a Diploma in Management in 2013 whilst working in the disability field, Kathy moved to Ballarat in 2017 and commenced working at Ballarat Pet & Farm Vet soon after it opened. She has and have been the Business/Practice Manager since 2019.
Outside of work she enjoy's getting to as many footy games as she can to support her beloved Magpies with her family. Most Monday nights you will find her battling it out on the Volleyball court. She also has a Schnoodle called Kelly that craves far too much of Kathy's attention.

Erin
Team Leader
Erin joined the team in 2022, coming from a background in retail management she was new to the industry and has loved every day since. A large part of her role is ensuring the team are taken care of so they can take care of your loved ones. She loves the unexpected surprises and challenges each day brings and is always having fun at work.
When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and creating memories.
