Alben is a benzimidazole-based drench with broad-spectrum worm control. It's a short-acting drench registered for goats and sheep. It's recommended for rotation with non-benzimidazole drenches and offers an alternative to macrocyclic lactone or levamisole drenches. Alben effectively controls major roundworms, tapeworms, and liver fluke in goats. Additionally, it's ovicidal, rendering roundworm eggs infertile to reduce pasture contamination.
